Job Summary

This pivotal role within a growing integration team involves developing scalable APIs and integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. The Senior Mulesoft Developer will be responsible for producing reliable, maintainable code, mentoring other developers, influencing integration best practices, and ensuring timely project outcomes. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining complex integration solutions, upholding code quality, and driving continuous improvement.

Must Have

  • Design, build, and maintain complex integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform
  • Uphold the highest standards of code quality, documentation, testing, and security
  • Promote and implement development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing
  • Assume full responsibility for deliverables from concept to deployment
  • Work proactively to identify and address potential roadblocks, ensuring on-time project completion
  • Stay up-to-date with MuleSoft capabilities, emerging technologies, and industry trends
  • Continuously refine integration patterns and frameworks to maintain competitive edge
  • Lead MuleSoft integrations and projects (senior-level API lead development)
  • Build and design APIs for ERP and existing systems (ERP HCM, Intake system)
  • Handle CI/CD processes, error investigation in logs, and API integration strategies
  • Support integrations between multiple providers and systems

Good to Have

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
  • Experience building integrations with Oracle databases, including writing PL/SQL
  • Experience using Mulesoft Partner Manager to integration with third-parties including with AS2 EDI transactions
  • Financial systems understanding (Oracle Fusion preferred)

Job Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Senior Mulesoft Developer for a high-profile position. This person will serve as MuleSoft SME. Candidates local to Florida are preferred, but not required - must work EST hours. While this role is remote, quarterly meetings are held in Orlando, FL. Summary: This role is pivotal to our growing integration team, where you will be responsible for development of scalable APIs and integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in producing reliable, maintainable code and guiding others to do the same. As a senior team member, you will also mentor other developers, influence integration best practices, and ensure timely, successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Integration Solutions: Design, build, and maintain complex integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
  • Quality and Best Practices: Uphold the highest standards of code quality, documentation, testing, and security; Promote and implement development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing
  • Dependability and Ownership: Assume full responsibility for deliverables from concept to deployment; Work proactively to identify and address potential roadblocks, ensuring on-time project completion
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with MuleSoft capabilities, emerging technologies, and industry trends; Continuously refine integration patterns and frameworks to maintain competitive edge
  • Lead MuleSoft integrations and projects (not architect level, but senior-level API lead development)
  • Build and design APIs for ERP and existing systems (ERP HCM, Intake system)
  • Handle CI/CD processes, error investigation in logs, and API integration strategies
  • Support integrations between multiple providers and systems
  • Work with Oracle Fusion (ideal but not required)

Requirements

  • MuleSoft Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect preferred
  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on MuleSoft integration design and development
  • Integration & API Experience: Proven track record in building RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and complex data integrations; Strong understanding of message queues, event-driven architectures, and application networks; Strong dataweave skills for complex transformations a must
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems a plus
  • Experience building integrations with Oracle databases, including writing PL/SQL a plus
  • Experience using Mulesoft Partner Manager to integration with third-parties including with AS2 EDI transactions a plus
  • Security and Compliance: Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, MuleSoft security features, and best practices for maintaining data integrity and compliance
  • Tooling and Processes: Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and related tools
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong API development and integration experience
  • MuleSoft SME-level knowledge
  • CI/CD and troubleshooting expertise
  • Ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with business stakeholders
  • Financial systems understanding (Oracle Fusion preferred)
  • Understand financial structures (GL/transactions)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
